Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a part-time Courier to be based on the Floyd County Campus, with travel to other campuses as needed. The role reports to the Director of Facilities Management and requires on-site presence.

The courier transports mail and materials, assists with loading, performs basic vehicle checks, records data, and adheres to safety and traffic laws. This position does not offer telework and pay is $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a Class C Georgia motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Two years or more courier experience preferred.
• On-campus presence required; no telework option.
• Commitment to safety and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail and materials between campuses by vehicle.
• Assist loading/unloading and secure packages.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance tasks.
• Record mileage and delivery data accurately.
• Report accidents or breakdowns immediately.
