Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other items.
• Taste products, estimate requirements, check production, and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, possibly over 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Perform repetitive motions and attend scheduled shifts on time.
• Other duties as needed per account requirements.
