Job summary

Forty-Niner Shops, Inc. is seeking a part-time Convenience Stores Student Associate to support Beach Hut and other campus stores. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep displays stocked and clean while delivering friendly service.

The role requires you to be a CSULB student enrolled in at least 6 units, obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days, and be available to work Fall 2026 with shifts Monday-Thursday 7am-1:30pm or 2:00pm-8:30pm and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Current CSULB student enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
• California Food Handler Card OR ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment.
• Excellent English communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services.
• Assist customers with service fulfillment: greeting, taking orders, collecting payment, making change.
• Cross-train and work in all Convenience Store locations as needed.
• Perform sales support functions related to POS and transactions.
• General housekeeping, stocking, pricing, and merchandising duties.
