Job summary

Harmony Science Academy Beaumont High in Beaumont, TX seeks a College and Career Seminar Advisor to plan and implement a comprehensive college and career counseling curriculum, guiding students through college applications and postsecondary options. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, families, and the community to develop supportive programs and advise students on academic and financial aid paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or counseling experience (Preferred).
• High School Teaching experience (Preferred).
• Valid Texas Counseling Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Understands and supports Harmony Public Schools' mission, vision and values.
• Develops and implements a college and career counseling curriculum for students.
• Advises and coaches students through the college admissions and financial aid processes.
• Provides workshops and guidance for parents on college planning and resources.
• Collaborates with college and career counselors, Dean of College and Career, and other staff to support student success.
