Job summary

Covenant Living of Colorado is seeking a Chaplain to provide pastoral leadership and coordinate all campus ministerial activities, offering spiritual and personal counseling to residents, families, and staff. The role partners with the Lead Chaplain and maintains ties with local clergy to support residents’ faith journeys.

As a Chaplain, you will plan worship, provide direct spiritual care, and engage with community clergy to foster faith connections.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in theology or seminary.
• Board Chaplain Certification (BCC) or eligible for certification with 2–4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• Experience: 1+ years in chaplaincy or religious leadership.

Responsibilities

• Chaplains plan, coordinate, and lead worship for each level of care, determining frequency that meets residents' needs.
• Provides direct spiritual care to residents, families, and staff in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain rapport with local clergy, acting as an ambassador for Covenant Living and keeping residents connected to their faith community.
• Chaplains participate in community programming such as hosted worship, teaching, devotionals; invite local clergy to lead services.
• Engage in spiritual wellness within LifeConnect profiles and participate in stand‑up meetings and committees.
• Assist in emergency situations and establish an on‑call protocol for after hours.
