Job summary

Florida Memorial University is seeking a Catering Server to deliver exceptional hospitality at campus events. You will set up venues, serve food and beverages, share menu information, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

This role requires strong communication, event-service experience, attention to presentation and cleanliness, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends; it involves standing for long periods and lifting trays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up event venues per client specifications, arranging furniture, decor, and equipment.
• Serve food and drinks in accordance with portion, presentation, and quality guidelines, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests, providing menu information, addressing inquiries, and accommodating special requests for a positive dining experience.
• Maintain event cleanliness by clearing tables, cleaning utensils, and resetting for subsequent event phases.
• Assist in post-event cleanup, returning the venue to its original state as directed by the event organizer or catering manager.
• Requires 50–55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as business needs dictate
