Job summary

UC Irvine’s Department of Student Housing seeks a Building Maintenance Worker to maintain and repair facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting. The role supports a learning-centered, resident-focused environment and requires collaboration with supervisors and staff.

• Must be able to work as part of a team and lead small groups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings within Student Housing, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and lock systems.
• Lead a small team of building maintenance workers or student staff when assigned.
• Operate and use relevant trade tools and safety equipment.
