Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to provide excellent customer service and support store leadership in daily retail operations on campus. You will help process sales, greet customers, and assist with cash handling to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role involves maintaining a clean, well-organized store, assisting with equipment operation, and adapting to a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and focus on their positive experience during the visit.
• Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register with speed and accuracy.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space.
• Temporary positions require availability to work weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends and flexible opening, midday, or closing shifts.
• Perform routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
