Job summary

UNCSA is seeking a Facilities Management supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations, inspect buildings, and manage staffing within the assigned zone. The role requires experience in housekeeping, supervisory leadership, and a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

You will ensure safety, PPE compliance, and accurate timesheets, while coordinating with zone supervisors to cover critical areas. The position is full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday with possible evenings or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or possession of a GED, and one year of experience in the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License is required. If no applicants apply who meet the required competency level and training and experience requirements, then management may consider other applicants.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular building inspections to assess the cleaning level in each employee’s area of responsibility and log findings.
• Coordinate and manage staffing levels for buildings within the assigned zone and develop plans for reductions due to absences.
• Ensure staff protection from workplace hazards and implement PPE standards and workplace safety standards in compliance with OSHA and North Carolina requirements.
• Manage employee performance, including annual evaluations, corrective actions, and timesheet management, and oversee related projects by the BES Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
