Qualifications

• Master's degree (or PhD) in Interior Design, History of Design, or a closely related field.
• NCIDQ certification is preferred for studio teaching faculty.
• Prior university-level teaching experience in interior design or related disciplines.
• Professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio of design work.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned interior design studio and drawing courses for the fall term.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, lead studio sessions, and facilitate student assessments.
• Maintain learning materials, course syllabi, and grading systems.
• Support students in developing design projects, presentations, and professional portfolios.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
