Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield is hiring immediately for full- and part-time BARISTA positions to serve coffee and related items. You will prepare espresso drinks in accordance with HACCP standards and interact with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with Monday–Friday schedules and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes espresso drinks and related items according to standard recipes.
• Operates POS and handles cash/credit payments.
• Maintains cleanliness and HACCP compliance in the service area.
• Welcomes customers and provides friendly, efficient service.
• Ensures accurate order taking and timely delivery of beverages.
