Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX is hiring a part-time barista to craft coffee and espresso beverages and serve light food items. You will follow HACCP guidelines, interact with customers, and maintain a clean service area.

Experience: prior Starbucks exposure preferred; at least 1 year in a high-volume coffee house required. You will enter orders in a POS, handle payments, and support merchandising and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior Starbucks experience preferred; 1 year in a high-volume coffee house required.
• Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food items following standard recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; handles cash and credit payments.
• Replenishes condiments and maintains clean service area.
• Maintains proper serving temperatures and HACCP standards.
• Greets customers courteously and assists in buying decisions.
• Merchandises display foods attractively and serves with a smile.
