Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's IU Dining and Hospitality is seeking enthusiastic baristas for Sugar and Spice in Bloomington. You will provide exceptional service, craft beverages, and engage with guests to ensure a warm, welcoming experience.

This part-time role involves flexible shifts, 12 hours per week, capped at 29 hours, and includes tasks from back-of-house to guest service. Pay starts at $12.75 per hour with IU benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Meets operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products.
• Engages with and understands our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepares food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for guests, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift. Expected to help the operation's needs.
