Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service in Shoreline, WA is seeking a hospitality-driven Barista to manage the coffee bar and craft specialty beverages for students, staff, and guests.

You will keep the beverage area immaculate, stock supplies, and collaborate with the culinary team, while also performing cashiering and dining room care. This role requires 1–2 years' beverage or customer service experience and the ability to stand for long periods during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in barista role in campus dining or cafe setting.
• Ability to obtain licenses and certifications (e.g., sanitation).
• Education: High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality beverages per recipes and standards.
• Calibrate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Clean and sanitize the coffee bar and adjacent surfaces.
• Restock supplies: milk, syrups, beans, cups, lids, napkins.
• Provide excellent customer service and cashier if needed.
• Assist with dining room care and other duties as assigned.
