BASIS Independent McLean is seeking a Campus Assistant to support our faculty and staff, helping with monitoring lunches, after-school activities, and related clerical tasks. The role serves Toddler and Pre-K students from 9:30am-6pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced, collaborative school environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with fingerprint clearance; experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; fingerprint clearance required.
• Experience with children preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring students.
• Performing clerical tasks.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
• Able to manage large groups of students in before/after-school programs and during lunch periods.
• Be punctual and reliable.
