Job summary

Topit AI seeks student ambassadors to run photo booths at campus events, book new events, and promote the Topit app directly to guests. You’ll be the face of Topit on your campus, driving engagement while learning how an early-stage startup scales.

Ideal candidates are current US college students who are social, reliable, and eager to own and grow a program at their school. This is a paid, part-time opportunity with room to lead teams as we expand to new campuses.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US college.
• Social and outgoing; comfortable starting conversations.
• Connected on campus through Greek life, clubs, athletics, or arts.
• Self-driven with ownership and accountability.
• Interested in startups and entrepreneurship; eager to help build something early.
• Reliable; you show up and run events well.
• Bonus: experience with event planning, photography or content creation, or student org involvement.

Responsibilities

• Run Topit Photo Booths at campus events: set up, keep lines moving, and ensure guests leave with great photos.
• Find and book events; contact sororities, fraternities, clubs, and student orgs to secure Topit on their calendar.
• Introduce Topit to guests and share your personal code to drive app usage.
• Be our eyes on campus; report what students love, what they don’t, and what we should build next.
• Capture photos and short clips from events for sharing.
• Help grow the program by onboarding and leading new ambassadors at your school.

Job description

Topit helps people pick their best photos. You upload a set, tell us what it's for (Instagram, a dating profile, LinkedIn), and Topit ranks them and learns your taste over time. It's on iOS and Android, and it's built by a small team out of UC Berkeley.

We run Topit Photo Booths: a free photo booth we bring to campus events like date parties, formals, fashion shows, club mixers, and pop-ups. Guests take photos and get them emailed instantly, and Topit helps them find their best shot. It's become our calling card on campuses, and we're getting booth requests from schools across the country faster than we can staff them. That's where you come in.

What you'll do

• Run Topit Photo Booths at events on your campus: set up the booth, keep the line moving, and make sure every guest leaves with great photos.
• Find and book events. Reach out to sororities, fraternities, clubs, and student orgs, and get Topit on their calendar.
• Get people using the app: introduce Topit to guests and friends, and share your personal code.
• Be our eyes on campus. Tell us what students love, what they don't, and what we should build next.
• Capture content from your events (photos, short clips) that we can share.
• Help us grow the program: as we expand, strong ambassadors help onboard and lead new ambassadors at their school.

Who we're looking for

• A current college student at any school in the US.
• Social and outgoing. You're at events anyway, and you're comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
• Connected on campus through Greek life, clubs, athletics, the arts, or anything else.
• Self-driven. You don't need someone checking in on you to make things happen, and you like having real ownership.
• Interested in startups and entrepreneurship, and excited to help build something early instead of joining something finished.
• Reliable. When you book an event, you show up and run it well.
• Bonus: experience with event planning, photography or content creation, or a role in a student org.
