Job summary

Framingham Public Schools is seeking a Campus Aide at King Elementary School in Framingham, MA to supervise students across campus and support continuity in learning when teachers are absent. This role offers hands-on experience in a diverse school setting and lays a foundation for future opportunities within FPS.

Starting immediately for the 2026-2027 school year, the Campus Aide helps maintain a safe, orderly environment and collaborates with staff to promote student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional Experience: Experience working with children or within an educational/community setting is preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements daily substitute lesson plans in the teacher's absence to ensure continuous learning.
• Creates a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives.
• Enforces rules of classroom behavior and supports school policies.
• Works with small groups to support student learning and continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality and support equity and inclusion initiatives.
