Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of related teaching/educational experience.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Master’s degree preferred in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership.
• Three years of administrative or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe instructional practice and provide formative assessment with real-time feedback and development opportunities.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to teachers in support of professional learning.
• Review performance data and learning plans with teachers and principals to improve student achievement.
• Identify priority development needs and connect teachers to professional learning opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records for teacher coaching, feedback and progress.
• Coordinate summer academic programs and collaborate with district staff.
