Bass Pro Shops in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Part-Time Sales Outfitter to greet customers, demonstrate products, and guide buying decisions with expert product knowledge. The role supports merchandising, maintains shelves, and promotes programs like CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

You will work with a team to ensure a legendary customer experience. The position emphasizes friendly communication, the ability to handle transactions, and upkeep of a safe, clean sales floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly in a friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish product on shelves per Merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable about products through training.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and restocks.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked workspace.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
