Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills; enjoys working in an environment of extensive public contact.
• Basic manual labor abilities, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities with cleaning agents.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Basic recordkeeping experience, including money handling.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and learn quickly; follow instructions accurately.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 20 pounds frequently and move safely over rough terrain.
• Ability to tow own RV (where applicable) in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates courteousness and provides excellent customer service by educating visitors on rules.
• Performs administrative tasks including basic recordkeeping and fee collection.
• Maintains facilities and grounds; cleans and stocks restrooms, and disposes of ashes.
• Rakes and grooms sites and public areas; maintains litter-free facilities and trails.
• Maintains good working relationships with staff, agencies, and visitors.
• Registers campers, collects fees, and sells retail items such as firewood and ice.
• Processes revenues and fee data using Company approved forms and procedures.
• Reports problems and hazardous conditions as discovered.
