KCN Campgrounds is seeking a Bartender/Cook to deliver quality service by mixing drinks, serving guests, and assisting in the kitchen to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience. The role requires beverage preparation, menu knowledge, accurate cash handling, and adherence to sanitation standards.

The position emphasizes upselling, teamwork, and maintaining clean, organized outlets while following safety and alcohol regulations. Training will support efficiency across all service areas.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout dining experience.
• Prepare beverages according to standard mixing and presentation.
• Understand menu and make recommendations to guests.
• Operate POS system and handle cash according to policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in kitchen and service areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor throughout dining experience.
• Prepare beverages according to mixing standards and portion control.
• Understand menu items and answer questions, making recommendations to guests.
• Participate in up-selling to increase revenue and profits from ancillary income.
• Coordinate with staff and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Sanitize, stock, and set up outlets at start and during shifts; adhere to safety policies.
• Clear and reset tables; manage cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory and inventory control.
• Adhere to state liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated patrons.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, service quality, and cleanliness.
• Be familiar with fire extinguishers and proper operation.
• Operate kitchen equipment (broilers, ovens, fryers, grills).
• Assist supervisor with monthly inventories and reconciliations.
• Occasionally serve food and assist as needed.
• Use PPE and handle chemicals safely according to standards.
