Job summary

People Inc. is seeking a Campaign Manager to lead onsite and in‑app marketing campaigns that convert anonymous visitors into registered users and then into paid subscribers.

You will report to the Director of Conversion Strategy and drive acquisition through multi‑channel experiences and lifecycle programs. The role supports a centralized Growth and Audience Relationship team, with hybrid/remote options and NY‑area office expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years hands‑on marketing, growth strategy, conversion optimization, or customer acquisition.
  • Experience managing end‑to‑end campaign execution including QA, deployment and performance tracking.

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns and optimize onsite and in‑app programmes to convert visitors into registered users and paying subscribers.
  • Coordinate assets, timelines, dependencies and launch readiness across teams.
  • Monitor KPIs with tools like Piano, Digioh, Looker; surface insights and test ideas.

Campaign Manager, Conversion

People Inc. is seeking a Campaign Manager to support and execute the conversion marketing strategy across PEOPLE onsite and in‑app marketing. Reporting into the Director of Conversion Strategy, the Campaign Manager is responsible for managing and executing onsite and in‑app marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition and subscription growth. This role translates the conversion strategy into compelling onsite and in‑app experiences that convert anonymous visitors into known users and known users into paid subscribers.

Location & Remote Availability

Remote or Hybrid 3× a week. In‑office expectations: if you reside within a commutable distance to our main office in New York, the expectation is to work from the office three times per week.

About The Team

This role is part of our centralized Growth and Audience Relationship team, responsible for growing direct relationships between our brands and consumers, operating People Inc. brands' newsletter, notification, lifecycle and onsite marketing programs and delivering best in class experiences to millions of subscribers.

Responsibilities
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns, managing development and optimisation of onsite and in‑app marketing programmes that convert anonymous site visitors into registered users and registered users into paid subscribers.
    • Converting anonymous site visitors into known users.
    • Newsletter list growth.
    • Free‑app downloads.
    • Upsell from free‑app users into paid subscribers.
    • Gating strategy.
    • Coordinate deployment and monitoring of onsite and in‑app campaigns.
  • Handle campaign QA, testing, scheduling, and approvals to ensure flawless execution.
  • Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, dependencies, and launch readiness across multiple teams.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, documentation for live and upcoming campaigns, and workflow processes to ensure efficient execution across multiple initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on campaign KPIs using tools such as Piano, Digioh, Looker, and other dashboards; surface insights, propose A/B tests, and recommend optimisations to improve acquisition performance over time.
  • Work closely with brand, app, magazine, and newsletter to align campaign execution with larger brand business goals.
  • Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders in a timely and solutions‑oriented manner.
  • Timely and accurate execution of all campaigns.
  • Demonstrated improvements in customer acquisition, member engagement, retention and renewal rates.
  • Increased operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in marketing, growth strategy, conversion optimisation, subscription marketing, or customer acquisition.
  • Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end campaign execution, including QA, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of onsite targeting/segmentation and campaign optimisation.
  • Strong familiarity with tools such as Piano, Wunderkind, Digioh, Braze, Iterable, or similar.
  • Analytical proficiency in reviewing performance data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a highly matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
  • 5% travel required.
Pay Range

New York: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. Remote: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
