Job Description

At LLS, our mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve patients' quality of life. Employees contribute daily to this goal, whether working locally or nationally. Join us and give new meaning to the word 'job.'

Summary: This role involves building relationships with volunteers, implementing innovative peer-to-peer fundraising strategies, and exceeding revenue goals within a designated market to support our mission of relentlessly pursuing cancer cures. Remote work may be permitted, with travel to local offices as required.

Key Relationships:

  • Reports to: Campaign Development Director
  • Supervises: Campaign Development Specialist (if applicable)
  • Leads: Volunteers, committees (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

  • Mission Integration: Collaborate with departments to communicate LLS's mission and organize mission-centered events.
  • Fundraising & Relationship Building: Drive peer-to-peer fundraising, develop strategic plans, and collaborate with teams to achieve revenue goals.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteers, develop recruitment plans, and maintain knowledge of LLS initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to supervise volunteers and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and digital media proficiency
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Minimal physical demands; typical of similar roles
  • Travel within the area; flexibility for evenings and weekends
