Job summary

Luke Bronin for Congress is seeking a Content Manager for the 2026 election cycle to manage and develop content for the candidate’s social media platforms. The role is full-time and based in Hartford, CT, with occasional in-person staffing of the candidate.

The ideal candidate brings political communications experience, excellent writing, and deep knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and X, along with editing software expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in political communications, including internships.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X) and editing software.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced campaign environment.
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle for district travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel with the candidate around the district to document events through photo, video, and audio.
• Draft and create static and dynamic content for all major social media platforms.
• Create and maintain a social media content calendar.
• Stay on top of social media trends and integrate trends with the existing social media calendar.
• Maintain regular communication with campaign leadership and consultants about social media needs and priorities.
• Monitor the campaign’s social media and email inboxes and disseminate important information to the appropriate team member.
• Other duties as assigned, which may grow over the course of the cycle depending on the campaign’s needs and the staffer’s demonstrated strengths.
