A primary focus of this role is building, maintaining, and improving standardized event reports and dashboards that provide reliable, actionable insights to event owners and business stakeholders. The specialist also manages assigned events, budgets, and workstreams; supports event technology and registration platforms; and coordinates work performed by external technology partners and other outsourced resources.

Working closely with event owners, cross-functional stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, this role helps establish scalable processes, shared reporting standards, and operational best practices that improve data quality, efficiency, consistency, and decision-making across the event portfolio.

As a Campaigns & Events Specialist you will:
  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, managing projects from initial strategy through post-event reconciliation.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance event reporting, dashboards, attendee analyses, and performance metrics to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Analyze registration, attendance, engagement, and financial data to identify trends, measure event success, and recommend improvements.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, expenses, vendor payments, and financial reporting while identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Configure and support event technology platforms, including registration systems, mobile apps, attendee engagement tools, integrations, and data workflows.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and outsourced resources to deliver high-quality event experiences, ensuring adherence to timelines, standards, and business requirements.
  • Establish and support reporting standards, data governance practices, operational documentation, and scalable processes that improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Provide onsite event support, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, attendee experience, and operational excellence.
  • Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. These are our values and influence everything we do.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related field and a minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, and marketing programs, including managing budgets, vendors, logistics, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience developing reporting, dashboards, and event analyses, with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and solutions.
  • Experience supporting event technology platforms, registration systems, CRM/marketing technologies, and data management processes, including quality assurance and documentation.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with external partners and vendors, and support onsite event delivery and travel as needed.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Additional competencies, knowledge and skills
  • Building Partnerships - Developing and leveraging relationships within and across work groups to achieve results.
  • Collaborating - Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals.
  • Customer Orientation - Placing a high priority on the internal or external customer’s perspective when making decisions and taking action; implementing service practices that meet the customers’ and own organization’s needs.
  • Experience with event technology platforms such as Cvent, including registration management, system administration, integrations, and attendee engagement tools.
  • Experience developing reporting solutions, dashboards, governance standards, and data-driven insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Experience managing outsourced vendors and technology partners while ensuring quality delivery, operational excellence, and successful execution of large-scale in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Experience building scalable operational processes, documentation, training materials, and best practices within a Center of Excellence, shared-services, or operational support environment.
