The kitchen staff and server role includes assisting in the preparation of healthy and nutritious meals for participants, maintaining appropriate health standards, and serving. The kitchen staff and server will also set tables, clear tables, wash dishes, and perform other cleaning as needed in the kitchen. Experience working with food allergies and diverse populations is a plus!
Kitchen and server staff may work early mornings (breakfast), afternoons (lunch), evenings (dinner), and some weekends depending on kitchen needs.
As a kitchen and server staff, you must enjoy a fun and interactive work environment, live entertainment (camp songs, etc.), and engaging with kids! Reliable transportation is required as some locations are remote.
The salary for this position starts at $16.00 hourly. Salary may vary based on background and experience. The compensation package includes benefits and earned time off, which depend on part-time or full-time status.
The Cook prepares healthy and nutritious meals for participants, maintains health standards, and manages food supply levels. The incumbent may provide work direction to kitchen staff and dishwashers as needed.
This position reports to the Food Service Manager, Executive Director, or Program Director. The incumbent interacts with participants, the public, staff, and volunteers, and provides work direction as needed.
