Bigcatgoalkeeping is looking for Camp React Staff Coaches to provide top-level coaching sessions for young goalkeepers during a week-long residential camp in Illinois. You will be responsible for encouraging the campers and supporting them both on and off the field.

The ideal candidate must have played at a professional or college level and be active in training goalkeepers. Expect to bring positive energy to the camp and implement valuable training methodologies.

Camp React Staff Coaches will be a part of an experienced group of talented coaches providing sessions for keepers looking to take their game to the next level. Your responsibility as a Camp React Staff Coach extends beyond the pitch: you will be expected to help bring a positive and encouraging energy to both your coaching peers and the goalkeepers at all active hours of camp both on and off the field. As a team, the Big Cat Staff is responsible for making Camp React an unforgettable experience for dozens of young, aspiring goalkeepers every year.

Responsibilities

• Implement supporting training points around the Big Cat methodology during Camp React sessions
• Collaborate and offer any valuable insights into goalkeeping methodology to help improve Camp React when asked.
• Move, set up, and break down gear for sessions.
• Help with any additional administrative work as requested.
• Encourage, support, and lift the training mentality of young aspiring goalkeepers inside and outside of training.
• Represent Big Cat by wearing Big Cat gear at GK sessions.
• Promote & encourage Big Cat supplemental training and gloves.

Requirements

• Must be available to attend Camp React Illinois (week-long residential Camp)
• Must have played Professional or College Soccer.
• Must be currently training or running goalkeeper clinics within clubs or training goalkeepers privately.
• Must be able to accurately demonstrate and communicate training-related goalkeeper actions during sessions.
• Must be able to present the importance of each drill and how it relates to a game.
• Must be current with the modern goalkeeper's function within a team.
• Must be able to help move and organize training gear, including lifting and moving boxes of gloves/shirts/etc.
• Adaptable in changing and reorganizing sessions or plans when required.
• Bring a positive, energetic attitude to the coaching staff and campers on and off the training ground.
