Job summary

Camp Sabra is seeking an Assistant Director of Programming, Retreats, and Rentals to lead summer programming and oversee year-round activities on the camp property. You will manage Judaic programming, food service oversight with the Sabra vendor, and staff recruitment while traveling for outreach.

The role requires BA/BS in a related field, 3–5 years in camping, and the ability to reside at camp during summer with strong organizational and execution skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years camping/outdoor program experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for recruitment and outreach.
• Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED is required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of summer programming.
• Oversee year‑round programming and external rentals.
• Manage Judaic program staffing and foodservice oversight.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
