Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in remote mining or oil & gas camps.
• Minimum of 2 years managing personnel.
• Minimum of 1 year working in a formal safety program at a Lead level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the Bornite camp.
• Implement and enforce safety and environmental policies.
• Assist with tracking and approval of employee time to payroll.

Skills

Knowledge of fuel handling regulations and procedures

Proficient in the use of personal computers and MS Office Suite

Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Ability to deal tactfully with camp staff, contractors, and visitors

Ability to follow instructions effectively

Education

High School diploma or GED

Specialized training related to camp operations

Valid Driver's License
