Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required, especially for Alaska residents.
• Formal heavy equipment operator training or certification preferred.
• HAZWOPER training preferred but not mandatory.
• At least one year of professional heavy equipment operation experience required for Level 1.
• Three years of professional heavy equipment operation experience preferred for Level 2.
• Five years of professional heavy equipment operation experience and management skills preferred for Level 3.
• Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site roads and unload aircraft at the Bornite Camp.
• Operate equipment to prolong its life while ensuring safety.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintain heavy equipment as per SOPs.
• Report incidents and equipment deficiencies to site management.
