Job summary

The Salvation Army International is seeking a Camp Maintenance Supervisor in Starke, Florida. The role supports the Camp Manager, maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards for a southern regional camp program.

You will manage maintenance tasks, coordinate with the program director, and oversee the maintenance crew while ensuring timely completion of duties and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a facility and site maintenance, construction, or grounds keeping business preferred.
• Equivalents of training and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Camp Manager for assignments and work schedule.
• Sets up and cleans meeting spaces with Program Director daily.
• Ensures Camp Maintenance has needed materials to continue work.
• Trains and monitors the activity of Camp Maintenance.
• Keeps the Camp Maintenance crew on task and follows through with duties.
• Advises Camp Manager of completed duties and other needed work assignments.
