Hiring Immediately!
This position will work Sunday - Thursday 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm from June - August. This is a temporary summer role.
This position compensates at $15.00/hour.
Responsibilities
• Assists Kitchen Lead in preparation of meals
• Cleans dining hall and kitchen areas after mealtimes including sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, taking out trash to dumpster, and washing dishes
• Prepares dining hall/kitchen areas for meal services by setting out plates, dishes, glasses, etc.
• Cleans and washes out trash cans as specified by Kitchen Lead
• Prepares afternoon and evening snacks for guests
• Keeps hazardous chemicals locked and away from guests and other staff
• Assists with food service trucks deliveries and stocking food and paper supplies
• Maintains a resort-like environment for persons served, other team members and visitors
• Participates actively in all required trainings
• Follows all Quest policies and procedures as outlined in the Camp Thunderbird Staff Manual
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
• High school diploma and must be 18 years or older required
• Higher education in culinary art preferred
• Experience in cooking, food prep, and meal service prep/clean up preferred
• Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
• Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future
