Job summary

American Youth Foundation is seeking a Facilities Specialist to help maintain camp facilities and grounds at Merrowvista in New Hampshire. The role involves rounds, daily projects, trash removal, and grounds work including mowing and pressure washing. You will also support woodworking groups and contribute to camp culture.

Housing and meals are provided. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings to support 24/7 camp operations and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (21+ preferred at Miniwanca site) and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working with heights, power tools, and hazardous situations.
• Able to drive site vehicles and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Able to work in all weather and maintain safety around campers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, mulching, and plant care.
• Paint, stain, pressure wash, and perform basic building maintenance.
