Job summary

McGaw YMCA in Evanston, IL seeks a Camp Echo Manager to support families through registration, payments, and on-site operations. This year-round role requires some evenings and weekend work during the summer, plus training visits to Camp Echo.

You will master Camp Echo offerings, manage camper forms and payments, coordinate bus departures, and lead parent communications to ensure a smooth journey from inquiry to departure.

Qualifications

• College graduate; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable and self-motivated.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and YMCA values.
• 3-5 years experience in administrative and customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to parents by phone, email, and in person.
• Manage camper registrations, payments, and forms in CampMinder or similar.
• Coordinate bus departures/arrivals and summer operations.
• Support staff hiring paperwork and reference checks.
• Lead communications with families and update Camp Echo website.
