The Girls Camp Director at Miniwanca, Shelby, Michigan, is a year-round leader responsible for planning and directing the residential summer camp program for girls. The role ensures a safe, inclusive community for ~350 participants and 75+ staff, with responsibilities spanning planning, staffing, risk management, and stakeholder relations.

Hybrid remote option available; on-site residency required during staff training and camp sessions (June–August 2026).

Mansioni

• Lead the summer residential program in alignment with AYF's mission and objectives.
• Communicate facility, administrative, and food program needs in a timely manner.
• Oversee updates and production of participant and staff manuals.
• Evaluate program quality, gather feedback, and implement improvements.
• Manage the annual camp budget, including procurement and inventory.
• Prepare and submit annual program and risk management reports to the Board.
• Recruit and hire seasonal staff; supervise coordinators and front-line staff.
• Deliver two weeks of staff training on AYF policies, practices, and risk management.
• Represent AYF at conferences, fairs, and events to support recruitment.
