When you join Champions, you’ll be supporting hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time, on school grounds. Whether you’re partnering with administrators to bring our programs to their district, or buddying up with students to aim higher, think bigger, and never give up, you’ll be leading the way toward inspired learning.

When you join our team as a Camp Director:
  1. Recruit, lead, train, and supervise a team of counselors to create unique and engaging camp experiences, leveraging and developing “best in class” counselors to be passionate and committed professionals.
  2. Manage business portfolio and drive business decisions to improve revenue and family retention.
  3. Ensure your camp is operating effectively, upholding top quality programs through utilization of provided resources; maintaining a high level of health and safety for all campers and counselors.
  4. Promote a strong passion for outdoor activities and nature-oriented consciousness.
  5. Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and experience for their children.
  6. Cultivate positive relationships with families, counselors, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and client partners.
  7. Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our camps by hosting hiring and enrollment events.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  1. 1 year of summer camp experience as a lead with the ability to recruit, develop, engage, and inspire a team.
  2. A love for children and a strong desire to create engaging and fun environments.
  3. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
  4. Ability to deliver creative content to families about daily activities.
  5. Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
  6. Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with client partners, with potential daily interactions.
  7. Self-sufficient requiring minimal guidance; resourceful and positively works through challenges.
  8. Strong conflict resolution, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Highly comfortable in or around water and familiar with water safety.
  10. Must meet state licensing requirements.
