Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Alpha seeks a Camp Director to coach and develop Guides and students in a high-engagement K-3 program. You will analyze performance data, lead workshops, and provide direct coaching to accelerate independent learning and life skills.
You will design scalable coaching playbooks, mentor Guides, and drive outcomes across cohorts, working on-site with relocation support in Miami, FL or New York City, NY. Expect six-figure compensation and a coaching-first culture.
Traditional schools often lower the bar when students fall behind. You take the opposite approach.
You’re convinced that young learners can accomplish far more than conventional classrooms demand, and you’ve led teams that demonstrate this through concrete, measurable outcomes. You understand that accountability, motivation, and rigorous standards transform lives in ways that one more practice sheet never could.
At Alpha, core academics are completed in just two morning hours using adaptive learning technology. This structure allows you to concentrate on the highest-leverage work: coaching students toward independent learning while developing the Guides who enable that transformation. You will be accountable for outcomes within a K-3 cohort, leveraging data, observation, and coaching to ensure that every child loves school, learns at twice the typical pace, and builds outstanding life skills.
This position is neither an instructional coach role nor a traditional principal role. You will not spend your time trapped in meetings or administrative tasks. Instead, you’ll be in classrooms, evaluating student and Guide performance, leading workshops on focus, accountability, resilience, and communication, and coaching both children and adults toward tangible progress.
Your impact will extend beyond your cohort. You’ll capture what succeeds, develop playbooks that elevate standards across the school, and contribute to how Alpha cultivates future Guides. If you’re motivated by developing people, scaling excellence, and demonstrating that extraordinary results are achievable when expectations remain high, we want to hear from you.
Fulfill Alpha’s three promises for every K-3 student by developing high-performing Guides, highly motivated students, and a coaching culture that reliably generates exceptional academic and life outcomes.
Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills.
Alpha hires teachers (guides), operators, admissions experts, school & curriculum leaders, and remote team members.
Alpha offers six-figure roles for people ready to help build a radically better school experience.
Alpha is fast-moving, ambitious, and student focused. It’s for people who want to improve the system, not maintain it.
