Overview

The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a Camp Counselor to join our Parks, Recreation and Trails team.

At the moment employer sponsored housing is not available

Applications will be reviewed weekly

Responsibilities

• Performs planning, organization and implementation of camp activities.
• Supervises and monitors all camp participants and actively participates in activities.
• Serves as a positive role model for all camp participants, including cleanliness, punctuality, sharing, clean-up and sportsmanship.
• Develops and implements summer camp schedules.
• Directs both individual campers and groups.
• Ensures campers’ well-being and safety across all activities.
• Creates safe, engaging recreation opportunities that include field trips, arts and crafts, sports and games; plans, implements and evaluates all recreational activities for the summer camp.
• Organizes, promotes, manages and supervises summer camp activities, events, classes and programs.
• Participates in staff trainings and meetings.
• Maintains good public relations with participants’ parents.

• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (provided during Counselor Training)
• Universal precaution certificate (provided during Counselor Training)
• Adherence to and familiarity with the Colorado State Childcare licensing regulations.
