Camp Counselor - Little Explorers - Chester YMCA

YMCA of Greater Richmond | Chester, VA 23836

The Chester YMCA is currently seeking part-time positive role models to help run our Little Explorers Camp! This part-time position starts at $15.00 per hour.

DUTIES of a Counselor
  1. Providing an engaging camp experience for children ages 3-6.
  2. Assisting with crafts, games, outdoor play, set up and clean up.
  3. Overseeing implementation of the Y mission and cause by modeling our core values.
  4. Assisting supervisors with daily camp activity.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Counselor
  1. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have experience working with children.
  2. A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
  3. Candidates must work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
