Camp Counselor, Before & After Care, Seasonal (41056)

Join to apply for the Camp Counselor, Before & After Care, Seasonal (41056) role at Park Ridge Park District.

Description: We are seeking to immediately hire Before and After Camp Counselors who will organize, lead, participate, and supervise campers ages 5 and up. The Camp Counselor helps maintain current and accurate records related to camp activities, including attendance, participant information, and time sheets. The camp location and age of participants will vary based on the selected camp. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications: Candidates should have experience and knowledge in leading youth activities. Preference will be given to those with previous camp experience and familiarity with camp-related activities.

Availability: We are looking for applicants to work weekday mornings, afternoons, or both. Additional shifts may be available. Training begins the week of May 19, with camp running from June 2 to August 15.

Approximate Shifts:

• 7:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. (Monday through Friday)
• 2:45 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. (Monday through Friday)
