Camp K-9 of Marin seeks Full-Time, Year-Around Camp Counselor: Come Work with the Lucky Dogs!

Camp K-9 of Marin, a full-service dog care facility, is currently seeking a responsible dog handler to supervise, care for and play with our canine guests. We are searching for motivated dog lovers who enjoy getting dirty and don't mind hard work. Employees must be available to work weekends and are required to work some holidays as this is our busiest time, not to mention be VERY flexible on days available.

Requirements:

• Applicants should be comfortable humanely handling all types of dogs.
• You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift.
• You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team.
• Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, please be responsible, honest, patient, and prompt; possess good written and verbal communication skills, a sense of humor, and most importantly, a positive attitude.

Description:

• Typical responsibilities may include supervising group play, one-on-one sessions, feeding meals, administering medications, potty walks, cleaning nap rooms, washing dishes, light grooming, etc.
• General cleaning and maintenance chores will be assigned daily.

The pay range starts at $18.00 per hour. If you have worked with dogs previously wages will be commensurate with experience. Perks include paid time off, continuing education opportunities, personal dog day camp, and more!
