Job summary

Bitcoin Sports Network's GolfBSN brand in Nashville is seeking a hands-on Camera Operator + Video Editor to capture competitive golf rounds and turn footage into engaging long-form YouTube episodes.

You'll own your production gear, shoot 9- or 18-hole matches across the Nashville area, edit into polished episodes with storytelling and pacing, and contribute to sponsor integrations and on-course audio. This is a contract role with recurring shoots.

Qualifications

GolfBSN, the golf brand of Bitcoin Sports Network, is looking for a Nashville-based Camera Operator + Video Editor to help produce our growing lineup of original golf content. Our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@golfbsn

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands golf, knows how to capture a competitive round without missing the moments that matter, and can turn that footage into entertaining long-form YouTube content. You'll work with the GolfBSN team on recurring shoots throughout the Nashville area and potentially select travel productions.

What You'll Do

• Film GolfBSN golfers, challengers, creators, and guests during 9- and 18-hole competitive matches
• Capture complete gameplay—from tee shots and approaches to putting, reactions, conversations, strategy, and key moments
• Anticipate the game so you're in position before the shot happens
• Capture personality, competition, humor, interactions, and the moments between shots that make an episode entertaining
• Record clean, professional on-course audio
• Capture establishing shots, course beauty, player intros, interviews, sponsor integrations, and supporting B-roll
• Organize and manage footage following each production
• Edit matches into polished, engaging long-form GolfBSN YouTube episodes
• Build a clear hole-by-hole story while maintaining pace and viewer retention
• Incorporate graphics, scoring, music, sound design, sponsor elements, and other production assets as needed
• Create select supporting short-form edits/clips from shoots

What We're Looking For

You should have:

• Professional experience filming and editing sports, golf, YouTube, or similar long-form content
• Strong understanding of the game of golf—clubs, scoring, shot progression, etiquette, and where the action is going next
• Ability to recognize and capture crucial gameplay without needing constant direction
• Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what makes a YouTube edit engaging
• Experience editing multi-camera footage
• Strong sense of pacing, music, natural audio, reactions, and competitive storytelling
• Reliable communication and ability to work independently in a fast-moving outdoor production environment
• Flexibility for shoots that may require several hours on the course

Equipment

Candidates should own and be comfortable operating their own professional production equipment, including:

• High-quality 4K camera equipment
• Professional lenses
• Wireless/lavalier microphones and on-camera audio
• Stabilization equipment
• Batteries, media, and equipment necessary to cover a complete golf shoot
• Editing workstation/software capable of handling multi-camera 4K projects

Compensation

This is a flat monthly paid contract covering an agreed number of recurring GolfBSN shoots and edits each month rather than a per-video freelance arrangement.

We're looking for someone who wants to become a consistent part of the GolfBSN production team as our original content grows.
