The role combines lab and real-world testing with Python automation and embedded C/C++ development.

The position emphasizes developing IQ test benches, analyzing data, and reporting findings to camera engineering teams. Strong C/C++ and Python skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development in Linux or RTOS with C/C++.
• Hands-on experience developing low-level device drivers for image sensors or video-capture hardware.
• Experience with camera IQ, imaging systems, or related electronics.
• Experience maintaining lab measurement setups.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of CMOS image sensor architecture and basic analog electronics.
• Experience with imaging lab equipment and optical components.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and variability.

Responsibilities

• Execute camera IQ testing in lab and real-world environments.
• Develop and maintain IQ test benches and measurement systems.
• Create and improve test software for automated data acquisition and analysis.
• Analyze data and communicate results, trends, and recommendations.
• Write technical reports on characterization results and actions.
• Develop new test setups to expand camera validation capabilities.
• Design and maintain C/C++ drivers for image sensors and video hardware.
• Develop drivers for GMSL links and related interfaces.
• Implement and debug interfaces such as MIPI CSI-2, I2C, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Support camera module bring-up with bench setups and diagnostic tools.
• Develop BIST, logging, and fault-recovery utilities.
• Support automotive safety practices per ISO 26262.
