Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Wisconsin seeks an experienced CNC programmer to develop and optimize machine programs from engineering drawings, set up tooling, and improve efficiency on multiple milling and turning centers.

You will train operators, maintain detailed production records, and collaborate with engineers to implement design changes, ensuring quality and on-time delivery across diverse projects.

• Verifies programs are correct and efficient with operator assistance.

• Analyzes and resolves programming issues during machining to ensure quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prepares instruction sheets.
• Trains machine operators and more junior programmers on programs.
• Organizes and maintains detailed records.
• Modifies and adjusts programs and instructions to incorporate engineering changes as required.
• Analyzes and resolves programming issues that arise during the machining process to ensure product quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
