Hadrian in Torrance, CA is seeking a CAM Programmer, Execution to elevate CNC program execution into reliable, production-grade outcomes on the shop floor. You will diagnose failures, refine toolpaths, and own end-to-end CAM processes.

This role requires strong CNC programming, GD&T interpretation, CMM inspection, and cross-functional collaboration to standardize solutions and boost manufacturing robustness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Root Cause Processes - Diagnose and correct failures across CNC programs, machine setups, inspection workflows, and operator execution. Analyze CMM data, validate against customer specifications and GD&T requirements, inspect fixtures, and verify machine processes. Implement solutions that are repeatable, simple, and production-stable.
• CAM Manufacturing Interface - Bridge the gap between CAM programming and shop-floor execution. Refine toolpaths, setups, and machining strategies based on real-world machine behavior, material response, and inspection feedback.
• Team Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with CAM Programming, Quality, CMM Programming, Applications, Automation, and Go-To-Market teams to develop informed and aligned process solutions.
• System Improvement - Identify systemic weaknesses in the manufacturing process and drive improvements across the factory. Standardize solutions, eliminate recurring issues, and increase overall process robustness.

The Role

CAM Execution is a hybrid Process Engineering role operating at the intersection of CAM programming and manufacturing execution. The team is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving failures across the full manufacturing process, ensuring that programmed intent translates into reliable, repeatable production outcomes.

This role works across CNC programs, machine setups, fixturing, CMM inspection, GD&T interpretation, and operator workflows to identify where breakdowns occur and implement robust, production-grade fixes. It is a process ownership role focused on end-to-end manufacturing stability.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High-Level Problem Solving - Ability to decompose complex, multi-variable manufacturing issues and converge on root cause quickly. Capable of implementing effective solutions in high-complexity environments.
• Part Process Knowledge - Strong background in developing, programming, setting up, and troubleshooting part manufacturing processes.
• Software - Experience with CNC programming software, CAD modeling tools, and general computing environments.
• Communication - Clear and effective written and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical information accurately.
• Machining Knowledge - Deep understanding of machining and/or inspection processes. Ability to teach, guide, and share knowledge with others in a production environment.

• Experience with 5-axis milling machines
• Experience with hyperMILL, NX, Heidenhain, Fanuc
• Strong GD&T and print reading capability
• CMM programming and inspection experience
• Hands-on machine setup and operation
• Systems engineering or process standardization experience
