Job summary

SLB is seeking a CAM Field Specialist in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. The role focuses on safe, accurate, on‑time delivery of products and services at customer sites, including offshore and workshop environments. You will operate valves, repair equipment, and support field operations with a strong emphasis on safety and performance.

Qualified candidates have 5–10 years oilfield experience, including wellhead installation/repair, and a demonstrated mechanical aptitude. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of oilfield experience required, background in wellhead installation and repair preferred.
• Self-starter with mechanical inclination and strong analytical thinking.
• Arctic experience is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Attain excellence in learning and competency events.
• Ensure safe, timely and compliant operations at customer job sites.
• Operate valves (manual and hydraulic).
• Repair SLB equipment including valves, actuation and control panels.
• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on SLB equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with customers related to SLB products.
• Offshore and workshop responsibilities.
• Maintain safety records and reports.
• Participate in risk analyses and continuous improvement programs.
• Engage customer contacts to promote SLB products and services.
• Mentor others as required.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Attain excellence in learning and competency events.

• Operating valves, both manual and hydraulic.
• Repairing SLB manufactured products including Valves, Actuation and Control Panels.
• Lubrication and preventative maintenance on SLB equipment.
• Working with customers to troubleshoot issues related to SLB products.

Previous Experience And Competencies

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of oilfield experience, previous experience in wellhead installation and repair.
• Self-starter, mechanically inclined and have analytical thinking skills.
• Arctic experience is a differentiator.
