Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to partner with engineering and architecture teams in designing high-quality technology solutions for the financial services industry. The role focuses on leading development efforts, mentoring staff, and promoting best practices across the team.

You will drive engineering excellence, participate in architecture discussions, and ensure secure, scalable delivery of Calypso-based solutions across the full trading lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with Calypso platforms and infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams.
• Strong experience with system configuration, implementation, and testing for OTC derivatives across the full trading lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an Agile development environment with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design, develop, enhance, and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions.
• Build maintainable and resilient applications and services for strategic initiatives.
• Incorporate scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security into distributed systems.
• Apply secure software development practices across the SDLC.
• Mentor engineers, foster innovation, and promote engineering best practices.
