Job summary

Sage-Haus is seeking a House Manager with Meal Prep Support for Upper West Side living. Part-time, 8-10 hours/week, two days (Tue/Thu) with start ASAP. You’ll bring calm, order, and reliability to a busy family, handling organization, meal prep, errands, and light cleaning with a thoughtful, independent approach.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable around pets. Growth opportunities exist into admin/personal assistant tasks over 6–9 months as needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Able to maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Fragrance-free.
• Able to work quietly.
• Ability to navigate stairs and access storage areas throughout the day, including lower and overhead spaces.
• Up-to-date vaccinations per guidelines (COVID-19 and influenza), subject to applicable legal accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems.
• Daily reset of the house and prep for cleaners.
• Kitchen refresh and daily reset.
• Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas, making beds).
• Clothing organization and wardrobe management (seasonal swaps).
• Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs.
• Event, holiday, and guest prep as needed.
• Packing/unpacking for travel for teens.
• Flag household maintenance needs to the family.
• Manage household orders, subscriptions, and restocking of pantry/fridge.
• Manage mail and packages, including breaking down boxes.
• Prepare simple crockpot or fresh dinners ~2x per week.
• Follow dietary needs: gluten-free and healthy whole foods.
• Occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards).
• Laundry: wash, fold, organize sheets and towels.
• Pet care: check litter box and provide fresh water.
• Research repairs and obtain quotes when needed.
• Potential growth area: admin/personal assistant support.
