Job summary

Acuren is hiring RT Level II Technicians w/ CR for callout work across North Dakota. On-site, full-time roles require certification, experience, and travel readiness.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, performing NDT tests, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Candidate should have safety-first approach and may supervise others on occasion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in Non-Destructive Testing or related field preferred.
• Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) per ASNT, NAS-410, or equivalent standards.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial CR; DR experience preferred.
• Additional Certifications in MT/PT/UT/UTT/VT/PMI also preferred.
• Open to travel up to 75% for callout work; TIWC card or ability to obtain.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently hiring RT Level II Technicians w/CR for callout work across various customer sites throughout North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in Non-Destructive Testing, Radiographic Technology, or related field preferred.
• Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) per ASNT, NAS-410, or equivalent standards.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial CR (entry-level candidates with relevant certifications considered
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial DR preferred
• Additional Certifications in MT/PT/UT/UTT/VT/PMI also preferred
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
