Job summary

Acuren is recruiting RT & NDT Assistants for call-out work to support our Tulsa, Oklahoma operations. You will assist in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Local candidates based in Tulsa or within about 30 miles are preferred since call-out work departs from the Tulsa shop and travels to job sites on short notice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred
• Some college is preferred
• Industrial radiography credentials are desirable and adherence to regulations is required

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.
• Support call-out work by traveling from Tulsa shop to job sites on short notice.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• 40 Hou Radiation Safety Training (40RAD)
• Industrial Radiographer State Card preferred/Trainee status a plus
• IRRPS card
• Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain
• Based in Tulsa, OK or surrounding area (within approximately a 30-mile radius)
